Welcome to the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center (MVESC) page. MVESC is a regional resource center for schools in Coshocton, Hocking, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry and Tuscarawas counties. Covering more than 2,700 square miles, our agency has the largest service region in Ohio, making us a little bigger than the state of Rhode Island and almost as large as Delaware. Our mission is to make connections with our school districts to create opportunities to improve student achievement for children. We serve more than 1,600 teachers in 16 school districts and more than 24,000 students. Within and beyond our five counties, we have partnered with more than 105 educational service providers in 62 Ohio counties, 39 states and Canada.
