Since 1987 the Zanesville-Muskingum County Port Authority (ZMCPA) has taken the lead in all economic development aspects of Muskingum County. At the forefront has been a display of innovation, cooperation, and investment between the ZMCPA, the City of Zanesville and Muskingum County to act as the economic development agents for the area. This partnership remains the same and continues to strengthen through collaboration and a common vision.
