Join us for a powerful day of storytelling, connection and inspiration at the Appalachian Stories of Resilience & Recovery Summit on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at Ohio University Zanesville. The summit will highlight stories of strength, perseverance and recovery throughout Appalachian Ohio, including a panel featuring individuals with lived experience. Dr. Richard Greenlee, dean emeritus of Ohio University Eastern, will deliver the keynote, “Pickin' Walnuts: A Story of Hardship, Hope & Healing.” The event is free and open to the public, with the option to attend in person in the Elson Hall Auditorium at OHIO Zanesville or virtually.
