The Warehouse Runner supports the warehouse picker and warehouse loader on a daily basis. They ensure that the quantity of goods picked and or loaded match the customer’s outbound shipment (pick ticket and load sequence).

Specific Duties and Requirements:

Load trucks using electric single or double pallet jack

Hand stack product/material when required

Count and inspect outgoing goods

Print load/Order placards and apply them to product/ material skids 

Stage pallets/orders in proper locations

Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including those pertaining to safety, security and food safety

Use computerized inventory control system to facilitate all product/ material movement

Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Equipment: Ensure the safe operation of handling equipment assigned to this function.

Safety, Sanitation, Security: Maintains a neat, clean and orderly work area. Conducts operation in a safe and efficient manner. Identifies to supervisor any situation that may violate our security practices.

Paperwork: Processes all shipping documents promptly. Turns paperwork into shipping and receiving office immediately after completion.

Qualifications:

• Experience or Training required: 1-year previous experience as forklift operator.
• License or Certificate Required: Forklift operator certification
• Mandatory Job Requirements: The requirements that an individual must absolutely possess to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Able to lift and remove product 60lbs or more above head
• Good math skills
• Able to operate single or double jack
